I can't imagine being without this sliding table now that I've had it for a few years.



I mated this to my old Powermatic 66. The setup was straight forward and the unit stays true. The obvious use is sheet goods, and there it does indeed shine. But there are other tasks for which it excels as well. For instance imagine putting a dado cut on the end of a 5 foot 6x6 post. Very easy with this setup. There are some cuts that you will find are easier with a sliding table than by other means. By themselves these cuts don't justify the slider, but in addition to dealing with sheet goods they are icing on the cake.



If you deal with sheet goods fairly regularly and have the room in your shop, then don't hesitate. For the money it's a great way to add this capability to an existing saw.
