The print quality is friggin' amazing, and only gets better with semi-frequent software and firmware updates. The support staff have ears, they'll listen to your suggestions. I have had the bot for a couple weeks now and have gone through the roll of PLA it arrived with, and I must say my bot is immaculate. I just love it. I am a architecture student so some of the things I have printed are really complex and I have had no problems! I have had the occasional failed prints, but all of them were corrected in the print settings. Also I keep the bot spotless and well oiled, I clean the extruded after every use so there isn't any build up. The way I see it is the bot does what it's told to do, those who have given it bad reviews may not know the what to tell the bot. This is not a easy machine to understand, you must know the programming behind it, otherwise you will have a lot of failed prints. The only issue I have had is something has started to creek in the back left corner, but I have lubed it up so it should stop after the next print. I highly recommend the Makerbot 2 if you know what you are doing, it produces quality prints, has great customer support and it just looks cool Haha. The only competitor I see to this is the Flash Forge Creator x or any other Makerbot. This by far has been one of my greatest purchases!!!
